Hi Everyone,
This past Sunday Pastor Jack commissioned the Alaska Mission Team to GO and Share the Redemptive Gospel message of Jesus at Kokrine Hills Bible Camp and the village of Ruby, Alaska.  Our team leaves tomorrow 6/7 for Alaska.  And we are ALL extremely excited and can't wait to GO!  It will take us approximately 24 hrs (door to door) to travel from CCC to the camp.  We will have an overnight stay in Anchorage and a 9:30 am chartered flight into the camp.  We will be going to Ruby on Sunday 6/10.
Please be in continual prayer for the village of Ruby, the Native Children who will be going to Kokrine Hills Bible Camp this summer, and your CCC team (Chuck, Tim, Meredith, Frank, Kelly, Shannon, and Mark).
I will try to update again when we get there.
Until ALL Have Heard -- We GO!

  3. We are on the last leg for today Seattle to anchorage. God has blessed us with great travels. A lot of people have been asking about our shirts. And what' KHBC means. God is opening doors for us all along the way.

  4. We are here! Just kidding. We landed in Anchorage last night. Thank you Jesus for your mercy!
Shannon sat next to a young man who is a missionary. She networked with him and connected him with Sam Gandy of Alaska Village Missions and Roger Huntington at Kokrine Hills. Shannon was telling me how excited and appreciative he was. God is making appointments for us all. Way to go Shannon for sharing! Chuck and I sat next to a lady (she had the middle seat) traveling on business to Anchorage. We took turns sharing with the reason why God called us all the way from Huntersville,NC to the bush of Alaska. I could tell she was intrigued and she asked why we would use our vacation time from work "to do this". I told her there is no better way to use my vacation than to serve Jesus! She said well you could use it to decompress
I then read Isa 40:31 to her, letting her know that the Lord renews us everyday when he serve Him. And that it's an incredible experience unlike any "vacation". God has made appointment with us all and the people we will encounter, I pray we continue to share with them the hope we have in Jesus.

  5. Hey you guys! Finally found the link...I'm always misplacing something.. I am so very proud of each of you~especially you Chuck. I am missing you, ALOT! But I am having a wonderful time with my Cindy,Tony,Josh and my Mom. Thank you so much Meredith for getting me here. I love the way your shirts are attracting attention and how people are so curious. You will NEVER believe this but when I was waiting for about an hour out front of baggage in Atlanta, I met the sweetest girl. She was on her way to see her dad. She was telling me all about her best friend from where she lived and she casually mentioned her friend would be in Alaska with a group from her church. I quickly got out my card and told her about Chuck. Come to find out...her best friend will be traveling to KHBC on missions the next week after the Huntersville CCC bunch leaves. We shared about Roger and Carol and how blessed we are to see them always on Facebook. I just couldn't get over the "God-connection" we made. He surely blessed my meeting that young girl. She was adorable and had such a sweet heart...You just never ever know how your openness to share about Jesus will make a connection with another. I am so very blessed to have you guys up there; even if I can't go personally...I can share with others about your experiences. I love you all so much and I am praying that God is opening doors for you and that he will cover each of you with safety. Chuck, I adore you and I am very proud of you~ As always, Julie :-)
